  1. BurnYour USDC is burned by Circle's CCTP contract on Stellar.
  2. AttestCircle's attestation service signs the burn.
  3. MintThe same amount of native USDC is minted on Solana.
More about Stellar → Solana

Stellar reaches finality quickly, so a standard CCTP transfer is already fast, with no Fast Transfer fee. From Stellar to Solana, USDC typically takes about 1 minute as a standard transfer (Circle's average attestation from Stellar: ~5 seconds); Circle's Forwarding Service submits the mint on Solana.

On Stellar, every transaction is built by our server and fee-bumped by us, so you don't need any XLM for fees. On Solana, Circle's Forwarding Service submits the mint for you, so the recipient doesn't need any SOL for gas on Solana.

Solana holds USDC in an associated token account (ATA). If the recipient doesn't have one yet, it's created on arrival and the rent is included in the quote — you only need their normal Solana address.

CCTP burns and re-mints instead of using a pool, so there's no slippage and no wrapped token. Learn about CCTP.

How to move USDC from Stellar to Solana

  1. Sign in and pick a wallet. Sign in with a one-time email code; no password is needed. Send from your sendstables Stellar wallet, or connect Freighter, Lobstr or another Stellar wallet (WalletConnect works on a phone) that already holds Circle USDC.
  2. Set up your Stellar wallet once. Every Stellar account needs an XLM reserve and a USDC trustline before it can hold USDC. A wallet that already holds USDC is set up. For a new sendstables Stellar wallet, in Add funds → Stellar, send at least 2 XLM to your address and tap Add USDC support.
  3. Have Circle USDC on Stellar. Hold Circle-issued USDC (not XLM or another asset named USDC) in your connected wallet, or send it to your sendstables Stellar address from your exchange or wallet.
  4. Choose the recipient and review the quote. Pick Stellar → Solana, keep your own Solana wallet or paste a normal Solana address, and check the fee and the minimum arriving. We fee-bump the Stellar transaction, so the transfer needs no XLM.
  5. Confirm and follow the transfer. USDC is burned on Stellar, Circle attests the burn, and Circle's Forwarding Service mints native USDC on Solana. The status page links each transaction.

Before you send

  • The source balance must be Circle-issued USDC on Stellar, not XLM or another asset named USDC. The recipient is a normal Solana wallet address, not a Stellar G… account, the USDC mint or a token account.
  • Hold native USDC on Stellar. A token named USDC, USDC.e or a bridged version is not automatically the Circle-issued asset; compare the identifier below.
  • Use the recipient’s normal Solana wallet address. Do not paste the USDC mint address or an associated token account address.
  • Sending to an exchange? Check it accepts native USDC deposits on Solana, and that it doesn't need a memo or tag the form can't add.
Native USDC identifiers on Stellar and Solana

Solana: EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v

These identify the token or issuer, not an address to send funds to. Compare with Circle’s official mainnet registry.

FAQ

What is the cheapest way to move USDC from Stellar to Solana?

It depends on the amount and what you already use. In our October 21, 2026 check, a NEAR Intents quote cost about $0.21 on $1,000 (its USDC goes through HOT Bridge on Stellar and a solver pays out on Solana) and Binance charged a flat 0.3 USDC to withdraw on Solana (with an account and identity check), while sendstables cost about $1.18 and Kraken 1.1 USDC. Circle's CCTP itself charged $0 from Stellar, but using it directly means building and signing the transactions yourself. Compare live quotes before sending; they change.

Is moving USDC from Stellar to Solana a swap or a bridge?

It's a transfer of the same asset between networks: USDC on Stellar becomes USDC on Solana. Nothing is traded. If you want SOL instead, swap the USDC for SOL on Solana after it arrives.

How much does it cost to move $1,000 USDC from Stellar to Solana, and how long does it take?

Moving $1,000 USDC from Stellar to Solana with sendstables has a service charge of $0.50 (0.05% at this amount) plus about $0.20 in Circle fees, about $0.70 combined before operating costs and margin. It arrives as native USDC minted by Circle's CCTP (no wrapped token) and typically takes about 1 minute as a standard transfer (Circle's average attestation from Stellar: ~5 seconds), with no XLM needed for gas in a sendstables wallet. Estimates checked Oct 23, 2026; the in-app quote shows our exact fee, Circle's live fee estimate and the guaranteed minimum you'll receive.

The quote shows our exact fee, Circle's live fee estimate and the guaranteed minimum you'll receive before you sign.

Is the USDC I receive on Solana native or wrapped?

Native. CCTP burns USDC on Stellar and Circle mints the same amount on Solana. No wrapped token, no pool, no slippage.

Do I need XLM on Stellar or SOL on Solana for gas?

We fee-bump Stellar transactions, so you don't need any XLM for fees. Circle's Forwarding Service handles the mint on Solana.

Can I send USDC from Stellar to someone else's Solana address?

Yes. Use the Send tab and paste a Solana wallet address (the owner address, not the token account). The Swap tab moves USDC between your own wallets.

What if the Solana wallet has no USDC token account?

It's created on arrival and the rent is included in the quote. You only need their normal Solana address.

Is sendstables run by Circle?

No. sendstables is an independent app built on Circle's public CCTP. Circle issues USDC and runs CCTP; we sponsor gas, relay where needed, and charge the fee shown in the quote.

Troubleshooting Stellar → Solana

My USDC balance is missing

Check the sending wallet, selected network (Stellar) and token identifier above. Native USDC on Solana or another network is a separate balance. If you hold a bridged token, this route does not convert it into native USDC for you.

After a recent deposit, check its confirmation in your wallet’s explorer and refresh the app balance.

The address or destination is rejected

Use the recipient’s normal Solana wallet address. Do not paste the USDC mint address or an associated token account address.

Copy it again from the recipient’s wallet, check the full address and confirm the network. Do not use a token contract, mint or issuer address as the recipient.

The quote changed or I cannot confirm

Review the refreshed quote and the USDC balance on Stellar. Network costs and Circle fees can change, and expired quotes cannot be confirmed.

If a wallet prompt was rejected, check the app’s transfer status before trying again.

The burn confirmed but USDC has not arrived on Solana

Open the existing transfer’s status and explorer links. Delivery follows the source burn, Circle’s attestation and the destination mint; a confirmed burn alone does not mean delivery is complete. Use the app’s status or delivery retry controls when offered.

Avoid starting a second transfer to fix a pending one. Circle explains attestation and finality times.

The transfer says delivered, but my wallet does not show USDC

Check the destination transaction and recipient on Solana. Select Solana in the receiving wallet and, if needed, add the native USDC token identifier above to its display. For an exchange deposit, its own crediting process may still be pending.

For help, keep the route, source transaction hash, destination hash if available and the status or error message. Never share a seed phrase, private key or sign-in code. Contact sendstables support.
