CCTP bridge: move native USDC across chains

Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol burns USDC on one chain and mints it on another. No wrapped tokens, usually in ~1–2 min.

How your money is secured
  • Non-custodial. Funds stay in your own wallet: an embedded wallet secured by Privy, or the wallet you connect. We never hold your keys.
  • Fees fixed at confirm. The price is signed when you confirm; nothing extra is taken later.
  • Native USDC. Circle's CCTP burns USDC on one chain and mints it on the other. No bridges, no wrapped tokens.
  • Every step on-chain. You get explorer links for each transaction and a shareable status page.

What is CCTP?

A permissionless protocol run by Circle, the issuer of USDC. It burns USDC on the source chain and Circle mints the same amount of native USDC on the destination.

  1. BurnYour USDC is burned by Circle's CCTP contract on the source chain.
  2. AttestCircle's attestation service signs the burn.
  3. MintThe same amount of native USDC is minted on the destination chain.
  • No wrapped tokensYou always hold native, Circle-issued USDC.
  • No pools, no slippageNo liquidity pool or locked collateral to drain.
  • DomainsEach chain has a CCTP domain: Ethereum 0, Solana 5, Base 6, Stellar 27.

CCTP V2 Fast Transfer

Circle attests after soft finality instead of hard finality, so it attests in seconds instead of ~13–19 minutes from Ethereum and its rollups. Circle charges a small fee for it, by source chain.

Fast Transfer draws on a finite Circle allowance. If it's used up, the transfer settles at standard speed. Chains that already finalize quickly don't need Fast Transfer.

Circle's Forwarding Service

Circle submits the destination mint for a small fee taken from the transfer, so the recipient needs no gas.

On Stellar, the sendstables relayer submits the mint and pays the gas.

Delivery to Cronos, Injective, Morph, Pharos, Plasma, X Layer is coming soon; you can already send USDC from them.

How sendstables uses CCTP

  • Your own walletSign in with a one-time email code. Wallets on EVM, Solana and Stellar.
  • Sponsored burnWe sponsor the gas and call CCTP's depositForBurn.
  • Delivery handledCircle's Forwarding Service or our relayer submits the mint.

Our fee is 0.05% service charge (min $0.10, no cap) plus operating costs and margin. The app shows the estimated amount you'll receive and the guaranteed minimum before you sign. AI agents can use the same transfers via MCP.

sendstables is not Circle and is not endorsed by Circle. Circle issues USDC and operates CCTP.

CCTP FAQ

What is CCTP?

CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) is Circle's permissionless protocol for moving native USDC between blockchains. USDC is burned on the source chain, Circle's attestation service signs the burn, and the same amount is minted on the destination chain.

Is CCTP a bridge?

It does the job of a bridge, but without wrapped tokens or liquidity pools. Because USDC is burned and re-minted by its issuer, you end up with native USDC and there's no liquidity pool or locked collateral to drain, and no slippage to pay.

What is CCTP V2 Fast Transfer?

Circle attests the burn after soft finality instead of hard finality, cutting attestation from Ethereum and its L2s from minutes to seconds (typical arrival ~1–2 min), for a small fee by source chain. It draws on a finite Circle allowance; if that runs out, the transfer settles at standard speed: ~15–19 minutes on average from Ethereum and most L2s, and hours from some chains (e.g. ~6–32 hours from Linea).

What is Circle's Forwarding Service?

The Forwarding Service is an optional CCTP V2 feature where Circle submits the destination mint for you, paying destination gas out of the transfer. It means the recipient doesn't need native gas tokens to receive USDC.

How does sendstables use CCTP?

sendstables gives you an embedded wallet, sponsors the gas to burn USDC, waits for Circle's attestation and makes sure the mint lands, via the Forwarding Service or our relayer. Our fee is 0.05% service charge (min $0.10, no cap) plus operating costs and margin; the quote shows our exact fee, Circle's live fee and the guaranteed minimum you'll receive.

Is sendstables affiliated with Circle?

No. sendstables is an independent app built on Circle's public CCTP contracts and attestation service. It is not operated or endorsed by Circle.

Which chains support CCTP?

sendstables currently supports 27 CCTP V2 chains, including Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Stellar. See the table on this page for each chain's CCTP domain and features.
